Solaris: Mounting an ISO Image

Today I needed to mount a Solaris ISO image over the network, because I did not have any blank CD media laying around. The following from EnderUnix tips helped me accomplish what I was after.

bash-3.2# lofiadm -a /swinful/solaris/sol-10-u1-ga-sparc-dvd.i
so /dev/lofi/1
bash-3.2# mount -F hsfs -o ro /dev/lofi/1 /mnt/iso
bash-3.2# cd /mnt/iso
bash-3.2# ls
Copyright JDS-THIRDPARTYLICENSEREADME
installer Solaris_10
bash-3.2# cd Solaris_10
bash-3.2# ls
